As someone who’s been a part of this industry for a long time, it’s incredibly rewarding to see the impact that games have on people’s lives.
Hi my name is Chinchu Varghese Mathew, and I have been a part of the Gaming industry for over 15 years. I started my career at Technicolor Games in 2015 and since then I have worked on several AAA games such as FIFA, Call of Duty, and a number of Ubisoft projects.
My passion is creating environment assets in games, I find the creative process extremely rewarding. I have received multiple awards for my work, but the real reward is seeing gamers enjoy the games that I have helped create.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing games as well as bike riding, traveling and spending time with my family. I am a big fan of football and support Manchester United with all my heart.
How did your career begin?
LittleBigPlanet 2, the first game I worked on at Xentrix Studio marked the start of my career in the Gaming industry. Since then, I’ve contributed to projects for EA, Ubisoft and Activision, among other major franchises in the market.
What is your most memorable moment/project working at Technicolor Games?
Being chosen for an onsite training program at both EA Vancouver and EA Orlando was an unforgettable highlight of my career. It was an incredible experience to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry, and it really helped me grow as a game artist.
What is it like working at Technicolor Games?
Working at Technicolor Games has been an amazing experience. I have had the opportunity to work on some incredible titles and collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry. The work environment is creative and dynamic, and there is always something new to learn.
What are you excited about for the future?
I am extremely excited about the growth of the Gaming industry and its reach. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in the past few years, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
